A is for Angels in Bethlehem's sky.
"Glorias" echoed from on high.

B is for Bells ringing with cheer.
Christmas Day will soon be here.

C is for Candle, each flickering flame
Tells us on Christmas the Savior came.

D is for Doorways in trim, so gay.
Welcome, welcome they seem to say.

E is for Evergreens, seen everywhere.
Perfume of Christmas filling the air.

F is for Fireplace, a fine spot to rest,
But for hanging stockings, it's really best.

G is for Gifts wrapped up and tied,
With love for dear ones wrapped up inside

H is for Holly of bright red and green.
At Christmas Time it's always seen.

I is for Infant so precious and dear.
His birthday we celebrate every year.

J is for Jingle Bells as sleighing we go
Over the hillsides covered with snow.

K is for Kitchen with sweet smells galore.

L is for Love; it seems to abound
When Christmas time comes around.

As shepherds watched a star so bright.

R is for Reindeer that pulled Santa's sleigh
From rooftop to rooftop. Up, up and away!

S is for Santa, a fellow so jolly,
Suit as red as the berries of holly.

T is for Trees, in each house they stand
Trimmed and lighted, looking so grand.

U is for Universe. Wherever you go
Signs of Christmas clearly show.

V is for Village, full of neighbors and friends.
Christmas greeting they all like to send.

W is for Window through which we see
What Mom has prepared so lovingly.

X is for Xmas, exciting, you see,
But it's Christmas, Christmas always to me.

Y is for Yarn, all knitted and warm
To protect us during a winter storm.

Z is for Zero as temperatures fall,

Birthday gift ABC album

Info on the ABC album done as a gift for
a son's 30th birthday! Used CM's Reflections 8x10 album and did
one page per letter with 3-5 photos per page on average.
 The quote on the front page that was used was : "I showed you the world
through my eyes, Now you show it to me through yours. And so we learn."
 A is for Automobiles (all the autos I've driven - rickety go cart, as  well
as real cars he drove)
 B is for Birthdays (just included 5 or 6 scattered over years)
 C is for Costumes (hilarious - Halloween, preschoolers get-ups, etc.)
 D is for Dad (first time Dad held him, graduation together, etc)
 E if for Easy (Taking it Easy - relaxed shots)
 F is for Fun (playing with brother, etc)
 G is for Grant (his brother)
 H is for Homes (his nursery, our first home, his first dorm room, first  apt)
 I is for Inventions (crazy stuff he made)
 J is for Jen (love of his life)
 K is for Kids I'm Related To (I already used C, so couldn't do "cousins"  -
this was better!)
 L is for Lens (pictures of him taking pictures - he's a filmmaker)
 M is for Mom
 N is for Nice Goin' (snaps of sports, awards, ceremonies, etc)
 O is for Official Photos (these were studio portraits thru the years)

 Q is for Quiet Mornings-When the Information Highway was a Bike Path
(paper route he had when 12)
 R is for Reading (from baby pictures through college - snaps of him  reading)
 S is for School (preschool thru college)
 T is for Teeth (first tooth lost, braces, etc.)
 U is for Us (family pictures of all of us)

 W is for Winter (we live in the south, so the snowman, ski snaps are rare!)

 Y is for Your Grandparents (okay-I fudged on this, but I was desperate)

A - Is for Angels with Halos so bright,
Whose carols were heard on the first Christmas Night.

B - Is for Baby, the Christ Child so dear,
We celebrate Christmas, His birthday each year.

C - Is for Churches where candles burn bright,
And shed a warm glow on Christmas Eve Night.

D - Is for Doorways with garlands of green,
To make Christmas merry, as far as they are seen.

E - Is for Evergreen Garlands galore,
We hang at our windows, fireplace, and doors.

F - Is for Frosty the Snowman so white,
Who helps to make Christmas merry and bright.

G - Is for Greetings, a Merry Hello,
With a heart full of love for people we know.

H - Is for Holly with Berries so red,
To make Wreaths to hang over head.

I - Is for Ice on snow-covered hills,
Where Sledding is fun, along with the spills.

J - Is for Jingle Bells merrily ringing to the whole world,
Joy they are bringing to each boy and girl.

K - Is for Kriss Kringle as merrily he stands,
That is what they call Santa in some other lands.

L - Is for Lanterns. I am sure that their light,
Helped Mary and Joseph on the first Christmas Night.

M - Is for Music, much Joy it will bring,
On Christmas Eve as sweet carolers sing.

N - Is for Noel the Angles did sing,
To Herald the Birth of Jesus our King.

O - Is for Ornaments hung on the Tree,
To sparkle and glisten for all to see.

P - Is for Presents and Packages Gay,
All under the tree for our Christmas Day.

Q - Is for Quiet Christmas Eve Night,
With snow covered hills glistening bright.

R - Is for Reindeer who help Santa deliver,
Presents to everyone without even a quiver.

S - Is for Shepherds who first saw the Star,
Over Bethlehem's Manger and followed afar.

T - Is for Tree we decorate gay,
Then wait for Santa to hurry our way.

U - Is for Universe-the whole wide world,
Where Christmas brings joy to each boy and girl.

V - Is for Vixen, a happy reindeer,
That helps Santa deliver the presents each year.

W - Is for Wise Men who brought gifts so rare,
And fell down and worshipped the Christ Child there.

X - Is for X-Mas some spell it that way,
But we prefer Christ at the head of our day.

Y - Is for Yule Logs whose bright sparks fly high,
And give a warm welcome to friends passing by.

Z - Is the last of the Letters and yet, It's the only one in the whole Alphabet,
That doesn't stand for something you see, Or that can be found on a
Christmas Tree.

But we must use it to make things complete,
So here at the end let us repeat,

A is for Arms, Arms that hold and Arms that
support and Arms that push when they have to.

B is for Books, which belong in every home; and
for Boredom which can't stay long if Books are there.

C is for the Children, and the Caring and the
Crying which sometimes come together all at once.

D is for Doors, which you sometimes have to help
them open and through which they have to go someday
never to return unchanged;
and for Discipline and Dignity,
which you owe every child.

E is for Everything you hope for them;
for the Easier you hope it will be for them;
and for Education, which should take place at
least as much at home as in school.

F is for Foolish mistakes you make with your kids;
and for the Freedom they must have to make their own.

G is for Grandparents, who can add tradition
and wisdom to children's lives;
and for Growth, which parents and kids
can experience together.

H is for Home, which sometimes is the only place
where a child feels wanted and loved.

I is for Ignorance, which darkens the world and is
sometimes mistaken for Innocence.

N is for Nurturing, the giving of love and care
which only sometimes come naturally.

O is for Occupation, which takes so much of your
time; and for the Openness which exists
when kids and parents really work at it.

P is for Presents, which are easy to give;
and for Presence, which is harder,
and for Parenthood, which is only partly
a biological function;
and for the Patience it takes to see you though it.

Q is for Questions, which are so easy to turn off
and so hard to turn back on.

R is for Rest, which never comes while the kids
are young; and for Reward, which you get when you
look in their faces or hold their hands.

S is for Summer, which seems endless; and for
School, where you ought to feel welcome;
for the Stories you know but seldom tell;
and for Shoulders, which sometimes are drenched with tears.

T is for Time, which there never seems to be
enough of; and for Teachers who try to understand.

U is for Upper hand, which you try so hard to keep;

life seems to throw just when everything's going well.

W is for "Why?", which can drive you up the wall;
